UAPB Receives funding for HPC Cluster

We are happy to announce that the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will be a recipient of a Defense University Research Instrumentation Program (DURIP) grant award for 2012. This highly competitive award from the Army Research Office (ARO) will enable the purchase of a high-performance / visualization cluster for the campus to support research activities.

The project also, includes funding for the construction of a visualization wall for 3D rendering. Only two universities within the state of Arkansas received funding under this program in 2012.

Website Shutdown for Maintenance
The Arkansas High Performance Computing Center will be shutting down temporarily on Monday, July 16 to integrate the Razor cluster expansion with the other equipment in the center. This will affect web service for CI-TRAIN for a few hours.
